First America Homes Announces New Vice President of Operations

First America Homes, the award-winning homebuilding division of The Signorelli Company, announces the appointment of Ed Haut as Vice President of Operations. This new role is part of First America Homes’ platform-wide enhancements to elevate business performance, ensure operational excellence and deliver successful projects in support of the firm’s strategic growth.

Haut comes to First America Homes building on 20+ years of leadership experience with public and private homebuilders and has a proven track record of success in areas such as cost reduction and avoidance, vendor relations, contract negotiations and project management.

Prior to joining Frist America Homes, Haut’s experience includes serving as Vice President of Construction Operations with Clay Residential where he reduced cycle time average from 399 to 154 days in nine months. Haut has also served as Vice President of Operations at J Talasek Homes, a luxury home builder, where he developed proposals and specifications for and multi-million-dollar custom homes while creating processes to enhance cycle time, profitability and customer satisfaction.

Haut holds a bachelor’s degree in construction management from Texas A&M University.
