Builders named for affordably priced Conroe community

The Signorelli Co. has tapped D.R. Horton and First America Homes as initial builders in its Granger Pines community in the Conroe area.

More than 1,100 homes are planned for the 460-acre community, with 232 lots slated for the first phase. Prices in the first phase, where homes will range from 1,100 to 2,900 square feet, will start in the high $100,000s.

First America Homes will offer single-family homes on 40-foot-wide lots, while DR Horton will build on 40- and 50-foot lots. Both builders are pre-selling home and will open models this spring.  
 
Granger Pines is north of FM 242 along FM 3083 near Old Houston Road, midway between Interstate 45 and U.S. 59 in East Montgomery County. Amenities include 120 acres green space and lakes, neighborhood parks and trails.

Signorelli is a privately held developer based in The Woodlands. Its biggest project under development is Valley Ranch northeast of Houston.
